As the producer of the world’s leading conventions for fans of genre television and film for over 40 years, Creation Entertainment puts on high-quality events. And for the thousands of attendees of Creation Entertainment’s official “Star Trek” Convention at the Rio Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, the event credential is more than just an ID badge – it’s a souvenir.
“The credential is the keepsake the client holds onto to show off year after year or to put in their scrapbook,” said Leticia Serafin, Creation Entertainment’s ticket manager. “It’s really something special.”
For an event this big, with over 5,000 daily attendees over the four-day conference, the company needed a vendor who could produce a high quality credential accurately and on time.
The Solution
Creation Entertainment had been struggling with its previous credential vendor, which it had used for over 10 years. Orders were often overly complicated with mistakes, which required an endless trail of e-mails and proofs that ultimately stalled the printing process.
Because ID Shop had successfully provided lanyards, tickets and credentials for a recent series of health expos produced by one of Creation Entertainment’s sister companies, the company chose ID Shop to produce the badges for its upcoming Star Trek convention.
